English Limestone Flooring
This is what we’ve built our reputation on… our beautiful local limestone quarried from the Lincolnshire oolitic belt that’s won favour for its subtle variations in tone, its aesthetic appeal, strength and versatility.
You’ll see it in some of our most famous buildings – and it’s making its way into homes around the country as more people choose it for bespoke products to enhance where they live, work and entertain.
Thought to originate from subtropical waters over 168 million years ago, Clipsham limestone ages beautifully and has been used in historic restorations including Windsor Castle, York Minster, Lincoln Cathedral, the Houses of Commons, University Arms in Cambridge and Ripon College in Oxfordshire… and now you can enjoy it in your home.
All the limestone fireplaces you see on our website and in our brochure are hand carved from Lincolnshire limestone. You’ll also find a wonderful range of English limestone flooring for living areas, halls and kitchens. Choose from various finishes – honed, pillowed or tumbled – to suit the nature and style of your home.
Just as Lincolnshire can boast one of the most beautiful stone towns in Britain, we are proud of the quality of our own natural limestone, quarried with pride. For more inspiration, take a look at our Gallery.
